My week #39

Decorating the kids bedroom / starting a conkers collection / a long (kids free!!) week-end in Copenhagen - Nyhavn, a canal boat tour, Tivoli's Halloween decorations (unfortunately the gardens were shut so I didn't get to go on the crazy rides..), the Lego shop, cool cafes, Amalienborg and its sleeping guards.. I totally fell in love with Copenhagen, so calm and relaxing, so pretty and oh those amazing design shops..

My week #38

Getting some sewing done while the kids are at school / an aerial dancer in a giant floating sphere as part of the Colourscape festival (more pics here) / a day trip to Bath and the American museum to see the Kaffe Fassett exhibition - there just happened to be a civil war reenactment that day too, which was great fun to watch! I'd never been to Bath, now I really want to go back and take the time to discover it properly.. / The Handmade Fair in the gardens of Hampton Court Palace - another place I'd love to visit!

I ❤.. Colourscape

Colourscape is this massive inflatable structure with different colour interconnected chambers.
The kids have lots of fun running around and the adults taking photos!

My week #37

I can always count on a little walk around the Southbank to make me smile / fresh lavender dotted around the house / loving those colourful tiles / seeing Mood Indigo at the cinema - I smiled and laughed my way through the absolutely bonkers first half of this movie but I found the second half dark, confusing and a little bit disappointing.. / finding a place for my family cross stitch - I think it will be part of an embroidery hoop wall I am imagining for the spare room (like this one I've shown before) / the Maritime Museum and one of the best views of London from the Royal observatory in Greenwich

Y has now gone back to school and I am looking forward to having a few hours to myself in the morning and finding my own routine again.. Hope you all have a good week!
